Job summary

SMEC (an SJ Group company) seeks an experienced Design Manager to lead multidisciplinary teams delivering coastal, marine, reclamation and infrastructure projects across Hong Kong and the wider region. You will provide technical leadership, coordinate with clients and authorities, and ensure delivery to budget, schedule and quality targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree required in Civil/Coastal/Marine engineering.
• Postgraduate qualification in a relevant field is a plus.
• HKIE or equivalent professional registration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, coordinate, and deliver coastal, marine, reclamation and infrastructure projects.
• Lead design concepts and construction methodologies for marine works.
• Perform and review civil, structural, geotechnical, and coastal designs and analyses.
• Mentor team members and promote digital engineering practices.
