Job summary

PFCC Group's client, a premier digital banking group, is seeking a Backend Software Engineer to help design and scale modern cloud-native systems. You will work on microservices, RESTful APIs, and secure platforms that power digital banking.

You’ll own end-to-end development—from coding in Java or Kotlin to CI/CD, monitoring, and incident response. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and a strong focus on testing will be essential to deliver reliable services at scale.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Java or Kotlin with cloud-native microservices.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and event-driven architectures.
• Experience designing robust RESTful APIs with backward compatibility.
• Hands-on in cloud environments (AWS) and containers.
• Ownership mindset for production operations and reliability.
• Excellent communication in fast-paced, cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and scale backend microservices in a cloud-native setup.
• Design, deploy, and maintain RESTful APIs and event-driven services.
• Ensure reliability, security, and scalability with proper monitoring.
• Drive CI/CD and incident response to maintain performance.
• Write clean, tested code and participate in code reviews.
