Job summary

Google Inc. seeks a Practice Customer Engineer specialized in migrations, infrastructure, and app workloads in Hong Kong. You will partner with Technical Sales and other CEs to differentiate Google Cloud, drive migrations of enterprise workloads, and deliver proof-of-concept pilots for complex deployments.

You will engage with executives, present solutions, and de-risk migrations while collaborating with product, engineering, and partners to stay ahead of industry trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of cloud native architecture experience in a customer-facing or support role.
• Experience with enterprise architectures and migration strategies for Oracle, VMware, or SAP.
• Experience with cloud engineering, on-premise engineering, virtualization, or containerization platforms.
• Experience building product demos and prototypes for technical workshops or executive briefings.

Responsibilities

• Drive the technical win for complex enterprise workloads and design end-state cloud solutions to migrate workloads.
• Collaborate with Sales to translate requirements into technical solutions and prototypes.
• Provide deep technical consultation and build lasting customer relationships.
• Create reusable solutions and assets with the Go-To-Market team from customer learnings.
• Document and prioritize customer feature requests and issues with product/engineering teams.
