Job summary

HKBN is seeking a Specialist - Service Delivery (System) to provide consultative direction and technical advice across Server System, Virtualization, Private Cloud, SAN storage, backup solutions and databases. You will be involved in design, deployment, and migrations of system infrastructure.

The role requires 3-4 years of hands-on experience in the listed areas, with certificates in Azure, Linux, VMware, or storage/backup being advantageous.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in IT or related disciplines.
• 3-4 years of experience in Server System, Virtualization, Private Cloud, SAN Storage, Backup Solutions deployment and integration of system and network infrastructure.
• Azure, Linux, VMware, Storage and Backup vendor certificates would be advantageous.
• Hands-on experience with Storage (Dell/EMC, HPE, NetApp, etc.), Server (HPE, Dell/EMC, etc.), VMware/Hyper-V, Microsoft AD/Exchange/M365/O365, Backup (Veeam, NetBackup), and Databases (Oracle, MS SQL, MySQL).

Responsibilities

• Provide consultative direction and technical advice on Server System, Virtualization, Private Cloud, SAN Storage, Backup Solutions and Database.
• Responsible for technical design and deployment in System Infrastructure.
• Handle System infrastructure migrations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems.
• Pre-planning and on-site deployment are required.
• Work closely with Project Managers and Tech Lead.
