Job summary

Alibaba Cloud is seeking Forward Deployed Engineers to couple business insight with engineering excellence and client communication to address real-world scenarios of overseas customers. You will co-build production-ready applications using Alibaba Cloud AI, data, and cloud products, engaging in end-to-end discovery, design, development, deployment, and evaluation with clients across time zones.

• 3+ years of experience in software development, data engineering, or client-side technical implementation.
• Deep domain expertise across finance, insurance, retail, or digital-native enterprises.
• Ability to communicate directly with clients and drive delivery under changing requirements.
• Experience in AI applications, data engineering, or big data platforms.
• Hands-on with LLMs, prompt engineering, and agent workflows.
• Familiarity with cloud-native architectures and API/SDK integration.
• Professional English communication across time zones.
