LexisNexis in Hong Kong is seeking an experienced Client Development Partner to join our team. You will engage directly with lawyers, heads of department and practice area heads to drive Protégé adoption and deliver AI-enabled workflows.

This permanent, full-time role focuses on building executive relationships, translating workflow priorities into practical solutions, and delivering high-impact demos to top accounts across the region.

Qualifications

• Legally trained professional (lawyer background is required).
• 5 years’ experience as a practicing lawyer preferred.
• Experience from large law firms or in-house corporate legal; exposure to AI and cyber security practice areas beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Drive adoption of Protégé in top accounts by working lawyer-to-lawyer with senior legal stakeholders.
• Build trusted relationships with practice leaders and translate workflow priorities into practical AI-enabled solutions.
• Deliver high-impact demos/presentations showing how Protégé improves legal work and outcomes.
• Partner with Relationship Managers/Directors to research prospects and execute pursuit strategies.
• Drive customer engagement across the full client lifecycle, including pre-sales and post-sales activities.
• Capture customer insights in CRM and feed learnings back to the business to shape engagement and recommendations.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Client Development Partner to join our team. Are you an experienced lawyer looking to help drive the future direction of the Legal Tech industry? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! This role is part of a global initiative creating ‘white glove’ post‑sale roles that go into top accounts to work lawyer‑to‑lawyer and drive use and adoption of LexisNexis Protégé and workflow solutions. You will engage directly with lawyers, heads of department and practice area heads (rather than knowledge managers) to secure support and endorsement for Protégé adoption. This is a permanent full‑time role based in Hong Kong.

Responsibilities

• Drive adoption of Protégé in top accounts by working lawyer‑to‑lawyer with senior legal stakeholders.
• Build trusted relationships with practice leaders and translate workflow priorities into practical AI‑enabled solutions.
• Deliver high‑impact demos/presentations that show how Protégé improves legal work and outcomes.
• Partnering with Relationship Managers/Directors to research prospects and execute pursuit strategies that build senior‑level relationships and create new business opportunities (pre‑sales activities)
• Drive customer engagement across the full client lifecycle, including pre‑sales and post‑sales activities.
• Capture customer insights in CRM and feed learnings back to the business to shape engagement and recommendations.

Experience & Requirements

• Legally trained professional (lawyer background is required).
• 5 years’ experience as a practicing lawyer is preferred.
• Preferred: experience from large law firms or in‑house corporate legal; beneficial exposure to AI and cyber security practice areas.
• AI fluency.
• Executive presence; able to engage partners / firm leadership and deliver persuasive presentations/demos.
