Job summary

Fung One Securities Limited in Hong Kong seeks an experienced Clearing & Settlement Operations Manager to oversee trade processing, lifecycle management, margins, collateral and reconciliations for securities and derivatives. You will validate daily TRS/SXO trades under ISDA/CSA, manage post-trade events, and support system enhancements and UAT.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, 3+ years of ops experience, and strong Excel skills with English and Chinese fluency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in securities or derivatives operations (Middle/Back Office).
• Strong understanding of ISDA/CSA frameworks, margin mechanisms, settlement cycles.
• Proficiency in MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin required; Cantonese a plus).
• Direct experience in TRS, Equity Swaps, or Single Stock Options is highly preferred.
• Basic knowledge of SQL or Python is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Capture, match, and validate daily TRS and Single Stock Option trades; exchange and track trade confirmations under ISDA/CSA frameworks.
• Handle post-trade events including resets, rolls, early terminations, maturities, option exercises, and dividend/corporate action adjustments.
• Calculate initial and variation margins, issue margin calls, and manage eligible collateral and haircuts under CSA agreements.
• Perform daily cash and position reconciliation against prime brokers, custodians, and internal ledger systems to resolve breaks.
• Issue accurate settlement and payment instructions via SWIFT/RTGS and manage cross-border funding to prevent settlement fails.
• Participate in system enhancements, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for trading/clearing platforms, and maintain SOPs.
