Job summary

Dah Sing Financial Group in Hong Kong is seeking a qualified professional to manage projects related to wealth management, private banking and retail banking as a solution architect. You will perform business analysis and provide consulting services to users and project teams, delivering high-quality project documentation.

You will work with stakeholders to define requirements, develop specifications, coordinate UAT, and support deployment and post-implementation reviews.

Qualifications

• Degree holder in Industrial / System Engineering / Management / IT or other related disciplines.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant working experience in banking industry or consulting firms.
• Familiar with banking products and services (retail banking or credit card products).
• Strong project management, people management, influencing and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese.
• Candidate with the qualification of Certified Banker is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects: identify and coordinate stakeholders, prepare project plans, follow up tasks and milestones.
• Escalate issues to Team Head / Department Head.
• Define user requirements and obtain sign-offs for user requirement documents.
• Develop requirement specifications, UAT plan, manuals and assist users in UAT and deployment.
• Support production migration/verification and post-implementation review.
• Propose adoption of new technology and process improvements.
• Support users in enhancing work quality and operation efficiency.

Job description

Reporting to Department Head, you will be responsible for managing projects related towealth management, private banking and/or retail banking business.You will provide business analysis and consulting services to users and project teams as a solution architect, and delivering quality project documentation.

Main Responsibilities

Support and provide advice in feasibility study / solution sourcing

Manage or assist in managing projects: identify and coordinate stakeholders, prepare project plans, follow up and review project tasks and milestones to ensure that project progress is meeting the project plan. Escalate project issues to the Team Head / Department Head

Facilitate and assist users / stakeholders to define user requirements, prepare and obtain user sign-offs for user requirement documentation

Develop the requirement specifications, UAT plan, procedure manuals and forms and assist users in UAT and project implementation. Arrange UAT environment setup with ITD and manage the UAT process

Support production migration/verification, post implementation review and production problem solving

Assist department / team head to formulate recommendations on the adoption and deployment of new technology, applications, management system, and improvement initiatives

Support users in enhancing work quality and operation efficiency

Follow relevant policies, procedures and guidelines in performing the above responsibilities, and support Team Head / Department Head in ad hoc assignments

To meet the challenge, you should have the following qualifications and attributes

Degree holder in Industrial / System Engineering / Management / IT or other related disciplines

Minimum4years of relevant working experience in banking industry or consulting firms, relevant practical experience inenterprise system deployment and reengineering projectsis preferable

Familiar with banking products and services (especially in retail banking or credit card products)

Proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese

Candidate with the qualification of Certified Banker is an advantage
