Job summary

I.T Group in Hong Kong is seeking a fashion buying professional to analyze sales performance and inventory, maximize profitability, and drive SKU control. You will collaborate with suppliers, negotiate terms, and prepare buying plans.

The role requires a degree in Fashion & Textiles or business, plus experience in fashion merchandising with strong Excel skills; a proactive, detail-driven mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Fashion & Textiles or related business discipline.
• Experience in buying and merchandising; fashion/lifestyle/retail preferred.
• Analytical and detail-oriented with strong product sense.
• Proficient in Excel with VLookup and Pivot Tables.
• Able to analyze sales and inventory data and plan assortments.

Job description

To analyze sales performances and inventory reports (daily, weekly, monthly, seasonal)

To maximize sales and profit by exploring the sales potential, managing stock and uphold effective SKU control

Assist in contract terms negotiation and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of the merchandise, handle claims and stock transfer

Assist in prepare OTB, seasonal and annual buying plans

Determine buying guides and assortment strategy in order to obtain a seasonal target

Formulate pricing strategies based on competitive analysis, market reviews, competitor positions, and financials, etc.

Experience / Qualification Requirements

Degree holder in in Fashion & Textiles (Fashion Branding & Buying / Fashion Business / Retailing / Fashion Merchandising) or business discipline is preferred

With experiences in buying and merchandising, preferably in the fashion / lifestyle / retail industry is a plus

Proactive, sensitive to figures and strong analytical skills

Excellent product sensibility and understanding of competitive retail landscape

Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy

Candidatewithless experience/lowerqualification willalsobe considered

Proficient in Excel is a must (VLookup & Pivot-table)
