I.T Group in Hong Kong is seeking a fashion buying professional to analyze sales and inventory, optimize stock, and plan seasonal assortments. You will negotiate terms with suppliers and prepare budgets to meet targets, while ensuring accurate forecasting and price strategies.

The role requires strong numerical skills, a degree in Fashion & Textiles or related field, and experience in merchandising. A five-day work week and competitive bonus are offered.

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion & Textiles or business discipline preferred.
• Experience in buying/merchandising; fashion lifestyle or retail experience a plus.
• Proactive with strong numerical ability and analytical mindset.
• Excellent product sense and understanding of competitive retail landscape.
• Attention to detail and high accuracy.

Responsabilidades

To analyze sales performances and inventory reports (daily, weekly, monthly, seasonal)

To maximize sales and profit by exploring the sales potential, managing stock and uphold effective SKU control

Assist in contract terms negotiation and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of the merchandise, handle claims and stock transfer

Prepare OTB, seasonal and annual buying plans

Determine buying guides and assortment strategy in order to obtain a seasonal target

Formulate pricing strategies based on competitive analysis, market reviews, competitor positions, and financials, etc.

Experience / Qualification Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Fashion & Textiles (Fashion Buying / Fashion Business / Retailing / Merchandising) or business discipline is preferred

With experiences in buying and merchandising, preferably in the fashion / lifestyle / retail industry is a plus

Proactive, sensitive to figures and strong analytical skills

Excellent product sensibility and understanding of competitive retail landscape

Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy

Proficient in Excel is a must (VLookup & Pivot-table)
