Private Advertiser seeks an experienced Buyer – Apparel & Accessories to drive the accessories category across stores and e‑commerce. You will select and purchase products from our approved assortment, including bags, socks, care products, small leather goods, and other accessories.
The role requires strong commercial acumen, analytical rigor, and collaboration to optimize assortments, maximize performance, and meet brand and financial objectives.

We are a global heritage brand seeking an experienced Buyer – Apparel & Accessories to drive the success of our accessories category across both retail stores and e-commerce channels. This role will be responsible for selecting and purchasing products from an internally developed and approved assortment, including bags, socks, care products, small leather goods, and other accessories.
The successful candidate will combine strong commercial acumen, analytical expertise, and cross-functional collaboration to optimize assortments, maximize performance, and support both brand and financial objectives.
Collection Development
Curate channel-specific accessory assortments aligned with brand positioning, customer needs, and pricing strategies.
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer behavior to identify opportunities and assortment gaps.
Leverage sales, inventory, and customer insights to forecast demand and refine buying decisions.
Strategic Assortment Planning
Build balanced assortments that optimize style, pricing, margin, and inventory productivity.
Manage Open-to-Buy (OTB) and purchasing budgets within established buying guidelines.
Analyze product performance and implement recommendations to maximize sales, improve profitability, and minimize markdown exposure.
Brand & Product Alignment
Collaborate closely with sourcing, product development, and supply chain teams on product availability, cost management, and delivery timelines.
Ensure all selected products meet brand standards for quality, design, and value.
Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration
Communicate effectively with both direct and cross-functional stakeholders.
Support the development of team capabilities and category expertise.
Partner with Planning teams to align buying decisions with financial targets and inventory strategies.
Work closely with Marketing and E-commerce teams to support product launches, storytelling initiatives, and promotional activities.
Provide guidance to regional and store teams on assortment priorities and performance expectations.
Collaborate with Distribution and Supply Chain partners to ensure timely product flow and optimal inventory availability.
Minimum 5 years of experience in buying, merchandising, or retail purchasing, preferably within the accessories category.
Strong commercial, analytical, and decision‑making skills.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
Proficiency in inventory management, planning, and purchasing systems.
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
Excellent written and spoken English; Chinese language skills are an advantage.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Merchandising, Marketing, or a related discipline is preferred.
