Job summary

HAECO Hong Kong is seeking a seasoned Data Analyst to collect, clean, analyse and present data to drive actionable insights. You will build dashboards and reports, translate complex findings into clear business decisions, and support governance and data quality across the organization.

You’ll work with Power BI Dataflows, CDP datasets and visualization tools, ensuring timely delivery and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to enable data‑driven improvements.

Qualifications

• Over 5 years of working experience with a minimum of 2 years as data analyst.
• Recognised degree in data science, engineering, business management or related disciplines is an advantage.
• Microsoft certified Power BI Data Analyst and Fabric skills are required.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, R and data visualization tools.
• Experience with AI language model applications is desirable.
• Strong learning, communication and collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, analyse and present data to generate actionable insights by visualization.

• Maintain data governance and ensure data quality and documentation.

Position Description

Collects, cleans, analyses, and presents data to generate actionable insights by visualization that support informed business decision‑making

What You'll Do

• Line Maintenance Datasets Maintenance
  • Perform data transformation from multiple sources
  • Ensure data accuracy, completeness and consistency
  • Maintain proper data documentation
  • Follow company data governance and compliance guidelines
  • Professional ethical use of data and upholding standards in analysis, reporting and communication
• Analyse Business Requirements and Recommendations
  • Understand business requirements and analytics requirements to produce data driven decision making recommendations
  • Create dashboards, reports and visualization
  • Translate complex data findings into clear business insights
• Timeliness and Reliability
  • Meeting agreed deadlines and service levels
  • Prioritize work effectively to support business needs

• Power BI Dataflow
  • Perform analysis and recommending data transformation in-house or company Central Data Platform
  • Perform data quality monitoring to ensure consistent and quality output
  • Develop and modify dataflow to support downstream data consumption with accuracy, consistency and integrity
  • Perform interim data transformation to support business continuity
  • Register proper data transformation documentation and dictionary

• Power BI Dashboard & Visualization
  • Recommend and design visualization for operation and business decision making
  • Derive long term data driven analytics to support business change
  • Develop paginated report template to support routine reporting

• Central Data Platform (CDP) Dataset
  • Derive algorithm by understanding business requirement to support CDP dataset development
  • Perform data quality and integrity analysis with CDP development team
    

What You'll Need

• Over 5 years of working experience with a minimum of 2 years as data analyst
• Recognised degree in data science, engineering, business management or other relevant disciplines is an advantage.
• Microsoft certified Power BI Data Analyst
• Microsoft certified Fabric Skill
• Statistic and Analytics languages Python, DAX, R, SQL, etc
• AI large language model applications experience
• Strong ability to learn new business processes, communicate and collaborate.
• Strong problem solving and data analytical mindset and skill
• Less qualification/ experience would be considered a junior position.
