Job summary

Ambition is representing a leading global health insurer in Hong Kong for an Assistant/Manager, Business Development. The role partners with channel leadership to roll out strategies, engages brokers, and drives growth across accounts.

The position emphasizes upselling, expanding broker networks, and promoting digital tools, with a strong focus on relationship building, KPI tracking, and targeted campaigns to win new business.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in health insurance or financial services.
• Valid IIQE license (Papers 1 & 2) is required.
• Strong interpersonal, influencing and communication skills.
• Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.

Responsibilities

• Support channel leadership by helping to roll out business strategies and initiatives.
• Broker engagement – act as the main contact point, building strong relationships.
• Drive growth – expand membership and revenue across assigned accounts, while improving sales productivity.
• Upsell and cross‑sell – identify opportunities across individual health products to boost customer value and penetration.

• Promote digital tools – encourage adoption of digital platforms internally and externally.
• Targeted marketing – identify customer segments and implement campaigns to drive new business.
• Business innovation – propose new ideas to enhance operations, products, and service delivery.
• Reporting and presentations – prepare decks and compile management reports.
