Job summary

Lendingpot Hong Kong is seeking a Business Development Manager to lead market localization and partner onboarding for our Hong Kong expansion. You will work closely with product and marketing to tailor onboarding, pricing, and messaging for local customers and lenders, while building strategic lender partnerships and growing borrower volumes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in moneylending, business development, partnerships, fintech, or market expansion roles.
• Strong understanding of the Hong Kong financial and lending landscape for individuals and/or SMEs.
• Experience launching new products or markets is a plus.
• Cantonese and English proficiency is required.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to work independently and execute with limited resources.

Responsibilities

• Adapt Lendingpot’s product offering and communication to suit the Hong Kong market.
• Localize onboarding flows, content, and pricing strategies with product and marketing teams.
• Identify, engage, and onboard licensed lenders and financial partners.
• Build strong relationships with partners for alignment and long-term success.
• Launch Lendingpot HK in collaboration with Singapore teams across Technology and Marketing.
• Execute growth strategies to acquire borrowers and lenders.
• Set up customer service and operational workflows, possibly via support teams in Malaysia.
• Monitor competitive landscape, regulatory environment, and market feedback.
• Provide regular reports and insights to leadership to shape strategy and priorities.

Role Overview

We’re looking for a Business Development Manager to lead Lendingpot’s expansion into Hong Kong. You’ll drive market localisation, build key lender partnerships, and lay the foundation for service operations. This is a hands‑on role ideal for someone who thrives in a startup environment and wants to make a measurable impact from day one.

Key Responsibilities

• Adapt Lendingpot’s product offering and communication to suit the Hong Kong market
• Work with the product and marketing teams to localize onboarding flows, content, and pricing strategies

• Build strong relationships with partners to ensure alignment and long‑term success
• Launch Lendingpot HK in collaboration across various team members in Singapore such as Technology, Marketing, etc.

• Coordinate the setup of customer service and operational workflows, possibly via support teams in Malaysia
• Implement efficient processes to manage borrower enquiries and partner support
