Job summary

PERSOL is seeking a capable analyst for a Retail Banking system role in Hong Kong. The candidate will identify system requirements for deposits, accounts, ATM, FPS, payments and cards, and translate business needs into precise technical instructions for IT developers.

The role includes creating, managing and executing UAT test cases, contributing to system revamps in line with regulatory updates, and preparing user guides for branch staff with training support.

Qualifications

• Degree holder in Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Systems or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in retail banking.
• Strong data analytics skills and ability to translate business needs into specs.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills in Putonghua, Chinese and English.

Responsibilities:

Identify retail banking system requirements and produce specifications, coveringdeposit,account opening, ATM, FPS,payment,card etc.

Study current workflow, translate business needs from bank managers or product owner into clear, technical instructions for IT developers.

Create, manage and execute UAT test cases to meet business requirements.

Contribute to system revamp according to strategic direction, business plan and regulatory updates.

Establish detailed acceptance test procedures; manage, coordinate and conduct joint testing; write user guides for branch staff and provide user training.

Liaise with various internal teams and external parties for the most effective and efficient development and implementation of solutions.

Requirements:

Degree holder in Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Systems or equivalent qualificationwith a minimum of1 years’ relevant experience in retail banking business.

Good hands-on knowledge and experience in business and data analytics.

Strong interpersonal skills with a drive to deliver quality solution, and the ability to build cordial relationship with technical colleagues and business partners.

Understand retail banking work procedures, regulations, and emergency response measures

Good interpersonal and communications skills in Putonghua, Chinese and English
