Job summary

Macquarie Bank Limited is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to partner across Sales & Trading, Technology and Operations. You will define requirements for Cash Equities OMS/EMS and algorithmic trading platforms, and drive data-driven improvements in execution efficiency and system performance.

The role emphasizes collaborating with front-office and tech teams to deliver impactful enhancements and support for digital trading initiatives.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Cash Equities trading architecture including OMS/EMS and algo platforms.
• Experience across full order lifecycle: capture, routing, execution, allocation, post-trade processing.
• Ability to translate trading and market connectivity needs into detailed specs.
• Experience with data-driven solutions to improve execution efficiency and performance.
• Minimum 5 years of business analysis in trading technology or financial markets.

What role will you play?

You will partner with Sales and Trading, Technology and Operations to deliver enhancements across Cash Equities order and execution platforms. You will analyse and define requirements across order management systems, execution management systems and algorithmic trading platforms, while supporting the adoption of emerging technologies and advanced analytics to improve trading outcomes and system performance.

What you offer

• Strong knowledge of Cash Equities trading architecture, including order management systems, execution management systems and algorithmic trading platforms
• Experience working across the full order lifecycle, including order capture, routing, execution, allocation and post trade processing
• Ability to translate front office trading, execution and market connectivity requirements into detailed functional and technical specifications
• Experience working with emerging technologies and advanced analytics, including data driven solutions to improve execution efficiency, scalability and performance
• 5 years’ of experience in business analysis within trading technology or financial markets environments.
