Job summary

Lenovo is seeking a broadcast technician to manage technical setups for radio and television stations. You will deliver 24/7 operational, monitoring, and maintenance services across control rooms and production spaces, and support network infrastructure and cloud platforms.

The role requires degree or diploma in electronics or related fields with post-qualification experience in TV/radio broadcast or IT facilities, and proficiency in English and Cantonese.

Qualifications

• Post-qualification experience in maintaining and operating TV broadcast and/or Radio broadcast or IT or data network facilities.
• Competent in spoken English and Cantonese.

Responsibilities

• Assume responsibility for technical setup within a radio and television station, with support from the Team Leader.
• Provide 24/7 operational, monitoring, and maintenance services for Presentation Room, VCC, MCR, IPC, and CCR.
• Perform maintenance of broadcast equipment to board level across both radio and television stations.
• Deliver maintenance and support services for network infrastructure, IT systems, servers, storage, and cloud platforms.
• Conduct preventive maintenance for production studios and broadcast equipment under supervision.
• Participate in setup of outside broadcasting operations based on client requirements.
• Implement minor projects related to system enhancements, renovations, or equipment replacements.
• Document all completed work and changes.

1. (1) Assume responsibility for technical setup within a radio and television station, with support and guidance from the Team Leader.
2. (2) Provide 24/7 operational, monitoring, and maintenance services for Presentation Room, Video Control Center (VCC), Master Control Room (MCR), Internet Presentation Center (IPC), and Central Control Room (CCR)
3. (3) Perform maintenance of broadcast equipment to board level across both radio and television stations.
4. (4) Deliver maintenance and support services for network infrastructure, IT systems, servers, storage, and cloud platforms.
5. (5) Conduct preventive maintenance for production studios and broadcast equipment under the supervision of the Team Leader, in accordance with the regular schedule defined by the client.
6. (6) Participate in the setup of outside broadcasting (OB) operations based on requirements specified by the client.
7. (7) Implement minor projects related to system enhancement, renovation, or equipment replacement for the client.
8. (8) Document all completed work and any changes made.

Qualification and Experience Requirement:

1. (1) Degree or higher in electronic, telecommunications, information technology, multi-media or equivalent academic qualification; and at least one (1) year of post-qualification experience in maintaining and operating TV broadcast and/or Radio broadcast or media production or IT or data network facilities; or
2. (2) Diploma or higher in electronic, telecommunications, information technology, multi-media or equivalent academic qualification; and at least three (3) years of post-qualification experience in maintaining and operating TV broadcast and/or Radio broadcast or media production or IT or data network facilities or all or any of them; and
3. (3) Competency in spoken English and Cantonese.
