Job summary

Lenovo is seeking a technically skilled professional to manage and maintain broadcast and IT facilities at a radio/television site in Hong Kong. You will set up systems, provide continuous operation support, and perform preventive maintenance across studios and control rooms.

The role requires a degree or diploma in electronics/telecom/IT with relevant post-qualification experience and fluency in English and Cantonese. Accommodation to complete the application may be available.

Qualifications

• Degree or higher in electronic, telecommunications, information technology, multimedia or equivalent; and at least one year of post-qualification experience in maintaining and operating TV/radio broadcast or IT or data networks.
• Diploma or higher in electronic, telecommunications, information technology, multimedia or equivalent; and at least three years of post-qualification experience in maintaining and operating TV/radio broadcast or IT or data networks.
• Competency in spoken English and Cantonese.

Responsibilities

• Assume responsibility for technical setup within a radio and television station, with support and guidance from the Team Leader.
• Provide 24/7 operational, monitoring, and maintenance services for Presentation Room, Video Control Center (VCC), Master Control Room (MCR), Internet Presentation Center (IPC), and Central Control Room (CCR).
• Perform maintenance of broadcast equipment to board level across both radio and television stations.
• Deliver maintenance and support services for network infrastructure, IT systems, servers, storage, and cloud platforms.
• Conduct preventive maintenance for production studios and broadcast equipment under the supervision of the Team Leader, in accordance with the regular schedule defined by the client.
• Participate in the setup of outside broadcasting (OB) operations based on requirements specified by the client.
• Implement minor projects related to system enhancement, renovation, or equipment replacement for the client.
• Document all completed work and any changes made.
