Job summary

Upway-Group in Hong Kong is seeking a creative designer to own branding and digital asset production. You will evolve our visual brand across touchpoints, designing assets for social media, email campaigns, paid ads, and our website.

You’ll craft print collateral such as decks, whitepapers, event signage, and merchandise, collaborating with marketing, product, and content teams to push ideas from concept to final execution while maintaining high-quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Fine Arts, or related design.
• Proficient in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin communication.
• Fintech/Forex/Crypto/SaaS industry experience preferred.

Job Responsibilities

• Brand Identity: Maintain and evolve our visual brand guidelines, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints.
• Marketing & Campaigns: Conceptualize and design digital assets for social media, email campaigns, paid ads, and our website.
• Print & Physical: Design high-quality print collateral, including decks, whitepapers, event signage, and merchandise.
• Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, and content teams to brainstorm and execute creative concepts.
• Asset Management: Organize and maintain our digital asset library to ensure design workflows remain efficient.

Requirements

• Software: Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effect, Premiere) and Figma.
• Soft Skills: Strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to juggle multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• AI Prototyping: Views AI not as a replacement, but as a powerful co-pilot. Leverage modern AI tools to speed up the workflow or push creative boundaries and scale visual asset production.
• Experience designing intuitive web layouts, landing pages, and interactive prototypes in Figma.
• A solid understanding of user-centered design principles, wireframing, and responsive web design.
• Ability to create short-form video content, motion graphics, and animated ads.

Qualifications

• Academic Background: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Fine Arts, or a related design discipline from a recognized university or art college.
• Languages: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin. You can confidently present design concepts to regional stakeholders.
• Industry Experience: Background in Fintech, Forex, Crypto, or SaaS is highly preferred.
