Job summary

Delvaux in Hong Kong is seeking a senior store leader to oversee merchandising, financial performance, staff supervision, and overall store management. You will drive operational sales results across a diverse product range and coordinate across front-end, back-end, and sales floor teams.

You will develop the team through formal development plans, provide coaching, and create scheduling to achieve business goals.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree or equivalent level; substantial general work experience.
• Experience in planning and managing resources to deliver predetermined objectives as specified by senior managers.

Responsibilities

• Oversee merchandising, financial management, and store operations to achieve sales goals.
• Lead day-to-day operations of a medium to large store with a diverse product line.
• Identify development needs of the team and implement professional development actions.
• Provide informal coaching to others to enhance performance.
• Develop and communicate messaging for commonly raised customer issues.
• Create medium- or long-term work schedules to achieve business goals.
• Manage and report on the performance of a large, diverse team and take corrective action when needed.
• Explain and implement the function's strategy and business plan within the team, motivating engagement.
• Configure product and services solutions to meet customer needs and negotiate agreements.
• Develop and deliver budget plans with guidance from senior colleagues.
• Define order processing protocol to optimize customer experience.
• Set objectives for each sales call and identify opportunities to grow customer accounts.
• Develop relationship management plans for complex customer accounts and ensure effective information flow.
• Monitor HSE KPIs and address noncompliance with policies and procedures.

• Oversee the merchandising, financial management, and overall store management to achieve operational sales performance goals.
• Manage day-to-day operations of a medium to large store with a diverse product line, ensuring the front end, back end, and sales floor are optimized.
• Identify and address the individual development needs of the team using the organization's formal development framework. Plan and implement actions, including continuing professional development, to build professional capabilities.
• Provide informal training or coaching to others in the organization to enhance performance and fulfill personal potential.
• Develop and communicate messaging and next steps for commonly raised customer issues.
• Create medium- or long-term work schedules to achieve business goals, coordinating across multiple teams.
• Manage and report on the performance of a substantial, diverse team, setting appropriate performance objectives and holding individuals accountable. Take corrective action where necessary to ensure team and personal objectives are met.
• Communicate the actions needed to implement the function's strategy and business plan within the team, explaining the relationship to the broader organization's mission, vision, and values. Motivate team members to commit to these goals and achieve local business objectives.
• Configure complex product-and-services solutions and associated contractual terms to meet customer needs, presenting and negotiating agreements within predefined commercial parameters.
• Develop and deliver budget plans with guidance from senior colleagues.

• Set clear objectives for each sales call, develop tailored presentations, gather and analyze relevant information, and gain agreement on customer requirements.

• Monitor and review performance against health, safety, and environment (HSE) key performance indicators (KPIs), taking action to improve performance and resolve noncompliance with HSE policies and procedures.
