Job summary

Automated Systems (H.K.) Limited is seeking a seasoned BI Software Developer to design and implement BI solutions for reporting and analytics across business units. The role emphasizes Power BI, SSIS/SSRS/SSAS proficiency, ETL, data modeling, and close collaboration with IT and business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust BI capabilities.

The candidate will contribute to data visualization, data integrity, and performance improvements while partnering with cross-functional teams

Qualifications

• University degree in IT or related discipline with 3+ years of BI development experience.
• Proficient in Power BI, SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS; highly skilled in Excel PowerQuery and PowerPivot.
• Expertise in SQL queries, Stored Procedures, and Functions.
• Solid knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL development and performance tuning.
• Full-Stack exposure with Java, Spring Boot, and ReactJS to integrate with core applications.

Responsibilities

Job description

· BI Development:Design, develop, and deploy Proof of Concepts (PoCs), BI reports, and interactive dashboards.

· ETL & Data Integration:Build and maintain efficient ETL processes using SSIS, C#, and .NET to ensure data integrity and performance.

· Data Modeling:Apply dimensional data modeling concepts to design robust data structures for reporting and analysis.

· Collaboration:Work closely with internal IT teams and business stakeholders to translate requirements into effective technical BI solutions.

· Documentation:Ensure all technical specifications, data mappings, and system changes are accurately documented throughout the enhancement cycle.

Requirements:

Experience:University degree in IT or related discipline with3+ yearsof relevant BI development experience.

Microsoft BI Stack:Proficient inPower BI, SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS. Highly skilled inExcel PowerQuery and PowerPivot.

Technical Development:

Expertise inSQL queries, Stored Procedures, and Functions.

Solid knowledge ofOracle PL/SQLdevelopment and performance tuning.

Full-Stack Exposure:Familiarity withJava, Spring Boot, and ReactJSis required to integrate with our core applications.

Data Visualization:Strong understanding of visualization principles to create intuitive and actionable reports.
