Job summary

HKUST Entrepreneurship Center seeks a high-calibre Assistant Manager to drive entrepreneurship development across the Greater Bay Area and campus networks. You will work with students, alumni, faculties and partners to design programs, organize events and provide support for startups.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience, plus strong English and Chinese communication, analytical thinking and a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required with understanding of the Greater Bay Area.
• At least 5 years of post-qualification experience in designing and implementing new initiatives and programs, program management, project development and funding administration.
• Excellent communication in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua).
• Mature, outgoing and entrepreneurial-minded with strong teamwork, organizational and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and organize programs and activities (training, competitions, investor meet-ups, networking, bootcamps, campaigns).
• Administer funding for innovation and entrepreneurship development from concept to market launch in HK and Greater Bay Area.
• Advise students and startups toward entrepreneurial success.
• Develop, maintain and monitor reporting for tracking entrepreneurship development and data for management reports.
