Yardley Brothers Craft Brewery's taproom seeks an energetic Team-Leader to uphold premium customer experiences and drive forward initiatives. You will manage staff, plan events with marketing, curate beverage options, and ensure hygiene and inventory controls.
The role requires a strong leadership presence and a passion for beer, food, and hospitality. Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in B2C management, excellent organizational skills, and fluency in English and Cantonese.
Yardleys Taproom is a craft beer bar on Peel Street offering the latest brews directly from Yardley Brothers Brewery, as well as regular guest events, and featuring a hot kitchen, cozy atmosphere, and a mixed crowd of regulars and new craft beer enthusiasts as well as those interested in learning more, spanning both the local and tourist markets. We are looking for a creative and passionate Team-Leader, able to take an active role keeping our Taproom standards high and pushing things forward, prioritizing the delivery of a top-quality customer experience.
Manage and maintain staffing, team structure and overseeing the delivery of a successful and consistent customer experience and customer-focused culture
Manage your team efficiently by having regular team meetings with recorded meeting minutes, delegate accountable tasks and track results
Work with your team to help conceive, plan and execute varied events with the support and guidance of our marketing team
Communicate customer feedback with your team, manage constant improvements and customer experience
Curate the beverage menu to maintain an innovative offering (beer, wine, spirits, non-alcoholic drinks)
Oversee hygiene processes at bar, including both front-of-house and back-of-house spaces
Manage inventory for both consumable goods as well as lost and damaged items, including ordering products and ingredients, working within budgetary and time constraints
Work with the Front of house team and the Kitchen staff to ensure menu remains current and processes are effective
At least 5 years work experience in B-to-C with evidence of management
Passion to work in F&B and experience in Leadership roles
Enthusiasm for Craft Beer and Food, with either knowledge of beer or evidence of willingness to learn
Strong Organisational Skills and attention to detail
Fluency in English and Cantonese for restaurant/bar environment preferred, Putonghua desirable
A proactive approach to problem solving and achieving goals
Evidence of strong focus on Customer Service
Familiarity with POS systems and booking software
A love of people, flavour, food and drink
Must have a valid HKID and the right to work in HK
Typical 5-day work week
