Michael Page International (Hong Kong) Limited is recruiting an IT Project Manager to lead end-to-end banking technology programmes in Hong Kong. You will drive modernisation across Payments, Cards, Brokerage or ATM platforms, and partner with business users, technology teams and vendors to ensure successful delivery.

The role requires strong governance, risk management, and stakeholder engagement with senior executives, plus experience delivering banking transformation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS or related discipline.
• Proven experience as IT Project Manager in a large banking environment.
• Strong track record delivering banking transformation or modernisation projects.
• Experience in at least one banking domain: Payments, Cards, Brokerage or ATM systems.
• Excellent stakeholder management, including engagement with senior executives.
• Strong governance, risk management and delivery capabilities.
• Experience managing vendors and external implementation partners.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
• Mandarin and English language skills are highly preferred.
• Familiarity with SDLC, Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
• PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent project management certification is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of banking technology projects and transformation programmes
• Drive modernisation initiatives across Payments, Cards, Brokerage or ATM platforms
• Partner with business users, technology teams and vendors to ensure successful project execution
• Manage project scope, timeline, budget, risks and dependencies
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and oversee project governance activities
• Engage and influence senior stakeholders across business and technology functions
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to management
• Ensure solutions align with business requirements, regulatory standards and technology strategy
• Facilitate project meetings, workshops and steering committee discussions
• Support change management, testing, deployment and post-implementation activities
