Job summary

Chandler Macleod Group (HK) Limited in Hong Kong is seeking a detail-oriented Payments Operations assistant to handle daily tasks such as cash posting, check processing, and lock-box operations.

You will support processing of firm payments, receivables, and liquidity flows, with data entry, document handling, and strict compliance with local regulations. Strong English and Cantonese, ability to work under pressure and independently are important for success.

Qualifications

• High Diploma or above required.
• Some banking or internship experience preferred but not required.
• Good command of English and Cantonese Communication.
• Able to work independently and under pressure.
• Willing to learn various banking processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily Payments Operations tasks (cash posting, check processing, lock-box).
• Assist with processing firm payments, receivables, trade transactions, liquidity flows and wholesale card activity.
• Provide data entry support for Payments Operations processing.
• Check printing and physical documents packaging.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and control policies.
• Track daily processing and ensure timely, accurate execution.
• Follow up actively to resolve issues promptly.

• Track and monitor daily processing and ensure process is carried out in a timely and accurate manner.
• Active follow-up as required and ensure issues are promptly resolved.
