Job summary

Bybit, a leading cryptocurrency exchange, is seeking a Java backend engineer to design and optimize the card issuance system, ensuring high availability, maintainability and scalability as the business grows.

You will develop subsystems for card application and card management, work with databases, caches, message queues, and microservices, and collaborate across teams and regions to deliver reliable software. Strong knowledge of design patterns and multithreading is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer software or related field
• Strong Java programming foundation and design pattern knowledge
• Experience with highly available backend systems

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize the MasterCard/VISA card issuance system for performance and scalability
• Develop subsystems for card application and card management with clear module boundaries
• Drive rapid business growth through ongoing technological research and innovation
• Ensure stability and accuracy of card transactions and reconciliation
