Job summary

Binance is seeking an experienced software engineer in Hong Kong to own the full lifecycle of Java and/or Python applications. You will collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into reliable services, tune performance, and mentor junior engineers in a fast-paced environment.

You will work with Spring Boot, MyBatis, MySQL, Redis, Kafka, and cloud-native deployments, delivering high-availability, low-latency systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in full lifecycle of Java and/or Python applications.
• Strong software design, architecture and system integration knowledge.
• Experience with event processing, multi-threading and integration patterns.
• Hands-on with Spring / Spring Boot, MyBatis, MySQL, Redis, Kafka and cloud-native deployment.
• Experience building high-availability, high-throughput, low-latency systems.
• Familiarity with AI coding assistants in production workflows.
• Fluency in English for overseas coordination.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Proactively tune performance and troubleshoot incidents.
• Write and maintain high-quality technical documentation.
• Write clean code and advocate engineering excellence.
