A tech consulting company in Hong Kong is looking for a System Architect to lead the architectural design for cloud-native applications and provide technical guidance. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience in web-based solutions, with a minimum of 2 years in a technical lead position. Qualifications

Job description

• Responsible for system architectural design and technical lead on mission-critical IT projects including cloud-native website and mobile apps using agile methodology
• Participate in Enterprise Architecture development and provide architectural guidelines and standard conforming to the Council's technical baseline and roadmap
• Technical evaluations on emerging technologies e.g., CI/CD, DevSecOp, microservice orchestration, cloud computing, A.I & MLops and video streaming
• Architecture governance on in-house development team or vendors' solutions and perform review and quality assurance on both implemented architecture and application.
• Provide on-going architecture support and solution to meet the service pledge on availability and performance of large-scale online website
• Develop and organize the architectural artifact or deliverable in architecture repository
• Here are our technology stacks, we are looking someone who has practical experience and interested in some of the following technologies, frameworks and tools: AWS, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, GitLab, Nexus, OAuth2, SAML, GraphQL, NextJS, Springboot, Scrum, Jira and Confluence.
• Some other requirements as a system architect:
• University degree holder in Computer Science or related discipline
• At least 5 years of experience in building, designing and architecting web-based solutions, of which minimal of 2 years should be in Architect/Technical Lead position
• Certified architect in AWS or Azure is an advantage
• Experience in system integration projects in heterogeneous environments is an advantage
• Possess strong presentation skills, with the ability to develop and deliver technical presentations to both IT and business stakeholders
