Job summary

The Bank of East Asia (BEA) is seeking an experienced retail banking professional in Hong Kong to grow and deepen customer relationships, proactively expanding the portfolio with wealth management and credit solutions. You will lead efforts to solicit new business, assess client needs, and provide tailor-made financial offerings.

The role requires strong regulatory knowledge, a proven track record in selling investment products, and the ability to coach junior staff while supporting branch

Qualifications

• University graduates preferred with 4+ years of banking experience serving retail customers.
• Experience in growing and managing an assigned customer portfolio is advantageous.
• Knowledge of HKIB/IIQE/HKSI licenses or MPF schemes is preferred.
• Strong selling track record in investment products is highly desirable.
• Proficient in English and Chinese; Putonghua is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Solicit new businesses, cultivate and retain long-term partnerships to make BEA the primary financial institution.
• Assess customers' financial positions and goals to tailor wealth management and credit solutions.
• Expand the customer portfolio through deepening relationships, networking, and targeted campaigns.
• Coordinate with Specialists Team to provide tailored services and solutions.
• Plan in-branch and off-site events to raise brand awareness and promote products.
• Ensure compliance with regulators and internal standards with high integrity.
• Coach and mentor junior sales staff to develop the team.
• Support branch transformation and provide customer feedback for service improvement.
