Job summary

Randstad Hong Kong Limited is seeking an Associate for an established corporate banking client in Hong Kong. You will deliver exceptional service, handle end-to-end transaction processing, and manage KYC/CDD compliance for Japanese corporate clients.

The role requires at least 3 years in corporate banking RM support or customer service, with strong knowledge of KYC/CDD and regulatory compliance. English and Chinese (Cantonese/Mandarin) fluency is essential; Japanese language is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Banking, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years in Corporate Banking RM support or customer service.
• Knowledge of corporate banking products and transaction processing.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary contact point for corporate clients regarding daily servicing matters and transaction enquiries.
• Process customer transactions including deposits, loans, foreign exchange, account maintenance, and registration updates.
• Conduct KYC and compliance activities, including customer due diligence (CDD), trigger event reviews, account maintenance, alert clearances, and sanctions follow-ups.
• Coordinate across internal stakeholders (Operations, Treasury, Compliance, AML) to ensure accurate and timely processing.
• Maintain high standards of data accuracy, client confidentiality, and regulatory compliance.
• Support the onboarding and practical training of new team members as required.

• Practical experience handling KYC, CDD, account opening documentation, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail and multi-tasking capabilities.
• Strong command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin). Japanese language proficiency is a strong advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
