Job summary

Forvis Mazars in Hong Kong is seeking highly motivated professionals to join our Financial Advisory – Restructuring and Insolvency practice as Associate or Senior Associate. You will work on corporate restructuring, liquidation, bankruptcy, receivership, and forensic accounting across industries.

You will gain hands-on experience in insolvency matters, communicate with creditors and clients, and draft court-related reports while meeting statutory deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accountancy, economics, finance or business-related subjects.
• Positive team player with strong analytical skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
• Highly adaptable, able to work independently and effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• In progress of studying or willingness to obtain an accounting qualification such as HKICPA, ACCA or equivalent.
• University graduate for Associate and at least 2+ years relevant experience for Senior Associate.
• Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the day-to-day management of engagements such as corporate restructuring and reorganisation, liquidation, bankruptcy, receivership, and forensic accounting and litigation support.
• Investigate the financial affairs of companies or individuals.
• Deal with claims and queries from creditors and clients.
• Monitor progress of engagements, including ensuring compliance of statutory requirements and deadlines.
• Draft reports / documents to the Court, the Official Receiver and other stakeholders to comply with relevant statutory requirements.
