Job summary

Kroll is seeking a Senior Associate in Hong Kong to work on high-profile insolvency and restructuring assignments, often spanning multiple jurisdictions. You will assist with day-to-day management of engagements and contribute to financial and operational analyses, including reports for courts and creditors.

The role involves drafting complex documents, monitoring progress to deadlines, and applying analytical skills to solve problems in a fast-changing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
• CA and/or CPA qualification preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in restructuring/ forensic accounting/ insolvency advisory field.
• Driven, displays leadership skills, influences others as well as collaborative problem solver.
• Risk tolerant and comfortable in a rapidly changing environment
• Good business sense and a proactive, can-do attitude.
• Ability to practically apply knowledge to identify issues and solve complex problems.
• Strong financial, business analytical and report writing skills; and
• Excellent communication skills (written and spoken)

Responsibilities

• High-profile insolvency and restructuring assignments and investigations and complex cross-border matters;
• Assisting with day-to-day management of engagements such as financial and operational restructuring, official and voluntary liquidations, other formal and informal insolvency and restructuring procedures;
• Compiling and analyzing books and records, conducting an inventory of assets and dealing with claims of creditors
• Performing cash-flow forecast, financial analysis and financial investigations
• Drafting sections of detailed, complex reports and documents for Courts, creditors and stakeholders; and
• Monitoring progress and ensuring completion of client work to statutory and client deadlines
