Job summary

CLSA in Hong Kong seeks an experienced corporate finance professional to originate, structure and execute transactions for a range of clients. You will prepare pitches, due diligence reports and deal documents, and coordinate with advisers through flotation processes.

The role requires 3–6 years in investment banking, strong M&A and equity underwriting knowledge, and fluency in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua).

Qualifications

• Degree holder in Finance or related discipline.
• 3–6 years’ experience in investment banking or financial industry.
• Met regulatory criteria for investment activities.
• Deep knowledge of PRC market and culture.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Chinese Word Processing.
• Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese & Putonghua).

Responsibilities

• Prepare internal and external documents (sales memos, agreements, syndicate briefing docs, roadshows, presentations, proposals).
• Advise on corporate finance transactions including origination, M&A, equity issuing and underwriting.
• Conduct due diligence on listing applicants.
• Coordinate with professional parties during flotation process.
• Support research, financial analyses, modeling and evaluation for transactions.
• Prepare pitch books and business proposals.
• Monitor market activities and relevant news.

Job description

This position will provide full support on originating, structuring and executing all transactions for the relevant products.

Key Areas of Responsibilities

• Prepare all internal and external documents e.g. sales memos, agreements, syndicate briefing docs, roadshow materials, power point presentations, internal proposals etc.
• Provide advice on corporate finance transactions, which include origination, M&A, issuing and underwriting equity securities and other varies types of transactions.
• Conduct due diligence work on the listing applicants.
• Co-ordinate with the professional parties in relation to the flotation process.
• Provide support on research, financial analyses, modeling and evaluation activities relating to completion and execution of corporate finance transactions.
• Prepare pitch book and business proposals.
• Keep track on market activities and relevant news.

Requirements

• Degree holder in Finance or related discipline(s).
• 3 to 6 years’ experience in investment banking and financial industry.
• Attained all necessary regulatory criteria for carrying out investment activities.
• Have an in-depth knowledge in PRC market and culture.
• Good analytical, interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Good PC skills including Word, Excel, Power Point and Chinese Word Processing.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese & Putonghua).
