Job summary

CLSA in Hong Kong seeks an experienced corporate finance professional to originate, structure and execute transactions across related products. You will prepare memos, agreements, roadshow materials, and pitch books while advising on M&A, equity issuances and underwriting.

You will conduct due diligence, coordinate with professionals in flotation, and support research, modeling and evaluations. Strong English/Chinese (Cantonese & Putonghua) and PRC market knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree holder in Finance or related discipline(s).
• 3–6 years’ experience in investment banking or financial industry.
• Met regulatory criteria for investment activities.
• In-depth knowledge of the PRC market and culture.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese word processing.
• Fluent in English and Chinese (Cantonese & Putonghua).

Responsibilities

• Prepare internal and external documents such as memos, agreements, briefing docs, roadshow materials and proposals.

Job description

This position will provide full support on originating, structuring and executing all transactions for the relevant products.

Key Areas of Responsibilities

• Prepare all internal and external documents e.g. sales memos, agreements, syndicate briefing docs, roadshow materials, power point presentations, internal proposals etc.
• Provide advice on corporate finance transactions, which include origination, M&A, issuing and underwriting equity securities and other varies types of transactions.
• Conduct due diligence work on the listing applicants.
• Co-ordinate with the professional parties in relation to the flotation process.
• Provide support on research, financial analyses, modeling and evaluation activities relating to completion and execution of corporate finance transactions.
• Prepare pitch book and business proposals.
• Keep track on market activities and relevant news.

Requirements

• Degree holder in Finance or related discipline(s).
• 3 to 6 years’ experience in investment banking and financial industry.
• Attained all necessary regulatory criteria for carrying out investment activities.
• Have an in-depth knowledge in PRC market and culture.
• Good analytical, interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Good PC skills including Word, Excel, Power Point and Chinese Word Processing.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese & Putonghua).
