Huatai International Financial Holdings Company Limited, the international arm of Huatai Group, seeks an experienced investment banking professional to prepare pitch books, conduct industry research, coordinate live transactions, and support due diligence and regulatory work in Hong Kong. The role involves financial analysis, valuation methodologies, and collaboration with senior bankers to execute deals.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or above from a top-tier university, preferably majoring in finance, accounting, or related interdisciplinary fields.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in investment banking and/or related fields (e.g., audit, funding, law).
• Strong analytical, presentation, problem-solving, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Good PC skills with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Wind and Bloomberg.
• Energetic and driven, with ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to communicate well in English and Chinese with strong English writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare pitch books, presentations, and other marketing materials to present strategic advice to clients.
• Conduct industry-specific research and competitive analysis to understand clients’ businesses, strategies, and challenges.
• Coordinate and obtain internal approvals for live transactions by working closely with internal committees.
• Support due diligence processes and assist in identifying transaction risks.
• Conduct financial analysis, including valuation methodologies.
• Prepare regulatory documents required by HKEX and CSRC.
• Prepare key materials for roadshows and syndication processes.
• Stay updated on market developments, including macroeconomic trends, regulatory changes, and deal activity.
• Work closely with senior bankers, peers, and other professional parties (e.g., auditors, counsels, industry consultants) to ensure smooth deal execution.
