Hong Kong Exchanges & Clearing Ltd (HKEX) hosts the IPO Vetting Department within the Listing Division, handling new equity listing applications and pre-IPO enquiries. The role involves supporting IPO processing, drafting comments and reports, and participating in policy matters under supervision.

The IPO Vetting Department of the Listing Division is responsible for processing:(1) applications for new equity listings including transactions by listed companies deemed to be new listings; and (2) pre-IPO enquiries relating to new equity listings.
Provide support to a team manager in processing IPO applications
Draft comment letters and Department reports to Listing Committee
Provide support for pre-IPO enquiries and IPO related policy matters as assigned by supervisor
Qualified accountants/lawyers or university graduates of other relevant disciplines with at least 3 years working experience in accounting, law, corporate finance, investment banking or a related field
Experience that demonstrates knowledge of the Listing Rules and knowledge of the securities industry and its practices including securities laws and accounting practices
Good interpersonal and presentation skills and knowledge of research, investigative techniques and procedures
Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese. Proficiency in Putonghua is essential
