Job summary

Standard Chartered Bank in Hong Kong is seeking a Senior Product Manager for Virtual Assets and Securities Trading within Retail Banking. You will define and execute product strategy aligned with Wealth Management objectives for self-directed investors.

You will oversee the full lifecycle of Equities and Virtual Assets solutions, drive KPIs, collaborate with technology and operations, and ensure governance, regulatory compliance, and a superior trading experience for high-volume self-service

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field; a master's or advanced degree is advantageous.
• At least 5 years in product management, with a successful track record.
• Proficiency in Agile and Scrum.
• Strong understanding of risk, governance, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management.
• Proficiency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the product strategy for Virtual Assets and Securities Trading in alignment with the Bank’s Wealth Management objectives for self-directed investors.
• Implement product strategies to achieve KPIs such as revenue, cost, assets under management, customer growth, and product penetration.
• Stay informed on market trends and emerging opportunities to maintain the business’s competitive edge.
• Oversee the development and full lifecycle management of Equities and Virtual Assets solutions for Retail Banking clients, ensuring alignment with broader business strategies, enhancing investment offerings, and maintaining governance and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor KPIs and lead business initiatives to meet targets in revenue, assets under management, customer acquisition, and product penetration.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to communicate the bank’s market insights, offers, and updates to frontline teams and clients.
• Prepare the product selling process and platform to optimize customer experience, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
• Work closely with Technology and Operations teams to improve trading platform stability, reduce latency, and enhance user experience to support high-volume, self-service trading.

• Proficiency in product management tools and methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.


• Comprehensive understanding of risk management, governance, and regulatory compliance.


• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.


• Proficiency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
