Job summary

CLSA Wealth Management is hiring an experienced business manager to support the COO with financial analysis, operational support and project management.

The role requires leading multiple projects, coordinating with senior stakeholders across countries, and translating data requests into actionable extracts. You will collaborate with Risk, HR, Legal, Compliance, Finance and Operations to ensure compliant governance and robust reporting.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate degree in Finance or Accounting or related field.
• 5 years of project management experience in wealth management or related area.
• Strong communication skills with management across countries.
• Fluency in English and Chinese (Putonghua) with translation capabilities.
• Excellent Excel skills and ability to handle large data sets.

Responsibilities

• Understand operations roadmap, product development, and regulatory requirements.

Our Wealth Management business is hiring an experienced business manager to support the COO office with financial analysis, operational support and project management.

Key Areas of Responsibilities

• Manage the execution of a range of projects and strategic priorities for the wealth management business
• Communicate with senior representatives from different countries, understand their data requests and requirements and converting them into necessary data extracts that will enable theses stakeholders to make the correct decisions
• Understand the overall Wealth management business which includes operations roadmap, product development, regulatory compliance requirement
• Work closely with Risk & Support functions (including HR, Legal, Compliance, Finance, Operations) to ensure the business is being run in a compliant and appropriate manner
• Assist with governance and reporting initiatives, including the preparation of presentations and reports required by Senior Management
• Review the day-to-day business reporting for accuracy and investigate unexpected results;
• Prepare ad-hoc data extracts, summaries and/or reports when necessary

Requirements

• Postgraduate degree in Finance, Accounting or related disciplines
• 5 years of prior project management experience with exposure in wealth management structure, product offering and operational control
• Strong communication skills especially with management from different countries
• Translation and Interpretation skills between English and Chinese
• Excellent excel skills especially with excel formulae and comfortable with handling large data sets and numbers
• Customer-focused and able to work under pressure with strong initiative and drive to succeed
• Team-player, detail-oriented and showcasing excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Possess strong integrity, compliance sense, willingness to learn and progress
• Excellent interpersonal skills with good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
