Job summary

Nex is seeking an Associate Art Director / Art Director to drive the visual direction of motion games and experiences on the Nex platform, balancing hands-on design with creative leadership.

You will define Nex’s visual language across projects, elevate craft, collaborate with engineering and publishing, and mentor the design team under the Senior Director of Design.

This role rewards distinctive, playful, and remarkable visuals in family entertainment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in communication design or art direction.
• Video game or digital entertainment experience is a plus.
• Strong eye for typography, layout, color, and motion.

Responsibilities

• Define and uphold Nex’s visual language across game studio projects.
• Elevate craft excellence and push for innovative ideas.
• Establish benchmarks, style guides, and review processes for consistent, polished execution.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Publishing, and other teams on production and promotion of games.
• Mentor and coach the Design team under the Senior Director of Design.
