Job summary

Fubon Bank (Hong Kong) Limited invites applications for the role of Assistant Vice President / Vice President, Risk Management and Data Analytics. You will lead MIS reporting on the bank's credit portfolio for senior management, ensuring timely, accurate information underpinning governance and committees.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in portfolio management and regulatory reporting, strong analytics with SAS/SQL/R, and bilingual fluency in English and Chinese.

Qualifications

• University graduate in risk management, statistics, or related quantitative field.
• At least 8 years’ experience in portfolio management/MIS reporting with regulatory exposure.
• Strong knowledge of wholesale credit portfolio and banking products.
• Proficiency in SAS, SQL, R, Excel/Access, VBA; Tableau is a plus.
• Excellent analytical skills with business sense and data accuracy.
• Self-motivated, able to meet tight deadlines and work independently.
• Fluent in English and Chinese (Mandarin preferred).

Responsibilities

• Prepare regular MIS reports on bank-wide credit portfolio for senior management and committees.
• Prepare HKMA Banking Returns and ensure high data accuracy in a timely manner.
• Responsible for on-going automation and enhancement of reporting process.
• Monitor credit risk appetite indicators, large exposure and risk concentration limits.
• Drive and support regular data-cleansing exercise.
• Perform ad-hoc data analysis to support management decision.
• Participate in credit risk related projects.

Requirements:

At least 8 years’ experience in portfolio management/MIS reporting, experience with regulatory reporting would be preferable

Knowledge in wholesale credit portfolio and banking products

Proficiency in using analytical/ statistical package and programming language such as SAS, SQL, R, MS Excel/ Access, VBA and MS Office; Knowledge in Tableau is an advantage

Strong in analytical skills with business sense

Self-motivated, with the ability to meet tight deadlines

Able to work independently and communicate with internal and external stakeholders

Proficiency in English and Chinese (including Mandarin speaking)
