All Star Agency in Hong Kong is seeking an Assistant Vice President - Loan Syndications to manage the full lifecycle of syndicated loans in Asia, from origination to execution. You will structure, underwrite, and distribute loans while coordinating with deal teams across regions.

The role requires a proactive, collaborative professional with at least 5 years in banking, specifically loan syndication or structured finance, and fluency in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Banking with prior Loan Syndication / Structured Finance experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Finance or Economics from a reputable university.
• A proactive and collaborative individual who works well cross-functionally/regional with colleagues.
• Effectively negotiates with wide range of his/her external/internal counterparties to execute deals/tasks.
• Effective communicator in English, Mandarin and Cantonese

Job description

A high-growth corporate bank with continual investment in growth in the region is seeking to hire an Assistant Vice President - Loan Syndications in the syndicated loans department to handle full spectrum of activities for securing the transactions including origination, credit analysis, due diligence in execution to maintain their edge in the syndicated loan market.

Role Responsibilities

• You will be responsible to structure, underwrite, distribute and execute syndication loans in Asia ranging from plain vanilla corporate loan to structured transactions including syndicated loans, leveraged finance.
• Support deal origination efforts and assist in execution, including but not limited to business, legal and financial due diligence, credit analysis, drafting term sheets, reviewing financing documents, coordinating between internal and external parties
• Support internal approval and compliance processes; work with credit, legal and compliance departments
• Assist to negotiate satisfactory terms and conditions including financial covenants and forms of security in order to comply with lending criteria
• Track deliverables against execution timetable to ensure timely and successful transaction closings
• Maintain good working relationships with banks and other financial institutions in the region
• Assist relationship managers in maintaining close client relationships and addressing structuring and executional issues
• Support and help grow the syndication network and loan trading platform in Asia
