Job summary

All Star Agency in Hong Kong is seeking an Assistant Vice President - Loan Syndications to manage the full lifecycle of syndicated loans in Asia, from origination to execution. You will structure, underwrite, and distribute loans while coordinating with deal teams across regions.

The role requires a proactive, collaborative professional with at least 5 years in banking, specifically loan syndication or structured finance, and fluency in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Banking with prior Loan Syndication / Structured Finance experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Finance or Economics from a reputable university.
• A proactive and collaborative individual who works well cross-functionally/regional with colleagues.
• Effectively negotiates with wide range of his/her external/internal counterparties to execute deals/tasks.
• Effective communicator in English, Mandarin and Cantonese

Responsibilities

• Structure, underwrite, distribute and execute syndication loans in Asia.
• Support deal origination efforts and assist in due diligence and drafting term sheets.
• Coordinate between internal and external parties across functions and regions
• Assist to negotiate terms and covenants to meet lending criteria
• Track deliverables against execution timetable to close transactions
• Maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions in the region
• Support relationship managers with client relationships and deal execution
• Grow the syndication network and loan trading platform in Asia
