Job summary

China Everbright Securities International Company Limited is seeking an Assistant Vice President, Business Analysis (Trading Systems) to lead requirements study, design, testing, QA, and governance for trading applications and new product initiatives. The role involves supporting institutional, strategy, low-latency trading, and U.S.

options projects, while coordinating with vendors to ensure timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline.
• 5+ years in financial services or trading system projects, with at least 2 years hands-on BA for trading systems.
• Experience in institutional trading, strategy trading, low-latency trading, or U.S. options preferred.
• Strong understanding of financial products (equities, futures, options, funds, OTC structures).
• Knowledge of trading workflows, market operations, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Strong communication skills in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.

Responsibilities

Job description

Assistant Vice President, Business Analysis (Trading Systems)

Responsible for business analysis and solution design across trading-related applications and new product initiatives, including requirement study & analysis, design, testing, quality assurance, documentation, and project management activities

Provide ongoing support and enhancement for trading systems on institutional trading, strategy trading, low‑latency trading, and U.S. options

Work closely with vendors and relevant parties to ensure timely delivery of projects

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal IT governance policies

Monitor project progress, manage risks, and provide solutions to issues encountered

Conduct system testing, quality assurance and post-release monitoring to ensure performance and reliability

Prepare bilingual (Chinese/English) documentation for internal and regulatory audiences

Perform any other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline

5 years or above experience in financial services or trading system projects, of which at least 2 years’ hands‑on experience in business analysis for trading systems

With experience in institutional trading, strategy trading, low‑latency trading, or U.S. options is highly preferred

Strong understanding of financial products (equities, futures, options, funds, OTC structure product)

Knowledge of trading workflows, market operations, and regulatory requirements

Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and documentation skills

Strong communication skills in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese
