Job summary

TÜV Rheinland Group in Hong Kong is seeking an Assistant Test Chemist to join our laboratory team. You will perform standard and non-standard chemical analyses, record results, and operate testing equipment in a quality-focused environment.

The ideal candidate holds a Higher Diploma in Science or Chemistry, has 3+ years in a testing lab, and communicates well in Cantonese, Mandarin and English. Training and career growth are provided.

Qualifications

• Higher Diploma or above in Science / Chemistry or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years in a testing laboratory.
• Good communication skills in Cantonese, Mandarin and English.

Responsibilities

• Performs standard and non-standard chemical analyses in a laboratory.
• Records results in laboratory test reports and evaluates results when applicable.
• Installs, operates and maintains laboratory test equipment.
• Might calibrate and repair test equipment.
• Takes care of sample disposal and sample return.
• Other duties as assigned.
