Job summary

China State Construction Engineering (Hong Kong) Limited is looking for a proactive procurement assistant to support sourcing of materials, equipment and services for projects in Hong Kong.

You will prepare inquiries, compare quotations, and assist in purchase order processing while keeping accurate records and liaising with project teams, suppliers and subcontractors.

Strong English and Chinese communication skills, detail orientation, and a willingness to learn are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree or above in Procurement, SCM, or related disciplines.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented and willing to learn.
• Good communication, negotiation and organisational skills.
• Good command of English and Chinese; Mandarin preferred.

The Company engages in building construction and civil engineering works. China State Hong Kong is among the largest construction contractors in Hong Kong, and is approved by the Works Bureau, to be on the List of Approved Contractors (Group C) for Public Works in the five major categories of building and civil engineering works, namely, “Buildings”, “Port Works”, “Roads and Drainage”, “Site Formation” and “Waterworks.”
