Qualifications

• PhD in Artificial Intelligence, Automation Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics Engineering or related field.
• Experience in tertiary education and teaching coordination.
• Strong publication record in robotics, intelligent systems, control or automation.
• Industrial or professional experience in robot perception, manipulation, control or autonomous systems.
• Proven ability to obtain external research funding is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, coordinate and deliver courses in AI, robotics, automation, and mechatronics.
• Lead programme development, quality assurance and accreditation activities.
• Conduct scholarly research and pursue external funding.
• Lead research collaborations with academia and industry.
• Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate projects.
• Support student development through mentoring and competitions.
