Candidates must have a PhD by appointment, demonstrate ability to build a world-class research programme, and show commitment to teaching

Qualifications

• A PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Risk/Nuclear Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• Priority will be given to expertise in AI for science, mechanics/materials/manufacturing, thermofluids and energy systems, or control, sensing and robotics.
• Strong commitment to teaching and mentorship across undergraduate and graduate levels.

Responsibilities

• Teach and develop undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
• Supervise and mentor research students.
• Conduct high‑impact research and contribute to scholarly activities.
• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by the Head of Department.
