BOC Group Life Assurance Company Ltd in Hong Kong seeks an experienced product professional to drive market-leading insurance product development within a cross-functional team. You will manage ideation through rollout, aligning value proposition and distribution with business goals.

The role requires 4+ years in insurance product development or related areas, fluent in English and Chinese, with strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualificações

• University degree in actuarial science, finance, or business administration preferred.
• 4+ years hands-on experience in the insurance industry, preferably in product development, marketing, channel development or actuarial.
• Proficient in spoken & written English & Chinese.
• Strong business acumen, customer-centric mindset, and excellent analytical skills.
• Ability to communicate complex issues with various stakeholders and execute effectively.

• Build collaborative relationships with internal counter parties or external partners.
• Ensure product development activities adhere to risk controls and regulatory guidelines.
• Create product collaterals for internal and regulatory approvals.
• Continuously analyze market intelligence to understand trends in products, services and customer journeys.
• Lead a small team and mentor junior staff.

You will work in a cross-functional team to create market-leading insurance products.

Job Responsibilities:

Drive the product creation and development cycle, from ideation and research, to implementation

Manage the end-to-end rollout of new insurance products, including optimizing the value proposition, distribution channels, and the overall product development process

Build collaborative relationships with internal counter parties or external business partners

Ensure all product development activities are conducted with high integrity and adhere to established risk control guidelines, procedures, and measures to mitigate potential risks

Construct product collaterals for necessary internal and regulatory approvals

Continuously analyz market intelligence to understand market trends in products, services and customer journeys

Lead a small team and nurture junior staff

Job Requirements:

University degree in a relevant discipline, such as actuarial science, finance, or business administration are preferred

At least 4 years hands on experience in the insurance industry, preferably in the areas of product development, product marketing, channel development or actuarial

Proficient in spoken & written English & Chinese

Strong business acumen, customer-centric mindset, and excellent analytical skills

Ability to effectively communicate complex issues and solutions with various stakeholder

Agile and have strong execution capability
