Job summary

WRISE Group in Hong Kong is seeking an Assistant Operations Manager (Securities & Asset Management) to oversee day-to-day operations, including account opening, client service, dealing and settlement, with a strong emphasis on efficiency and regulatory compliance. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in finance or business administration and about 7 years in financial operations.

SFC Type 1 and 4 licences are required; Type 9 is an advantage. Experience launching a trading app is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance or related field.
• Around 7 years of experience in financial operations.
• Holder of SFC Type 1 and Type 4 licences; Type 9 licence will be an advantage.
• Experience in setting up, launching and promoting trading app is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with cross-functional collaboration.
• Proficiency in financial software and systems.
• Candidates with more experience may be considered for Operations Manager.

Responsibilities

• Assist to manage day-to-day operations including account opening, customer service, dealing and settlement ensuring efficiency and compliance across all processes.
• Assist to monitor dealing activities of client day to day (including Hong Kong and global stocks, OTC products such as funds, bonds, structured products and other investment products).
• Assist to monitor trade procedures, support the routine operations to ascertain adherence to proper procedures.
• Work closely with investment team to set up policies and procedures, identify and mitigate operational risks related to investment activities.
• Assisting in-house sales teams’ enquiry on company trading app and information of various investment products trading and operation procedure.
• Work with external business partners in improving the functions and user experience of the company’s trading app, including conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Attend periodic meetings and prepare reports for dept updates.
• Assist Compliance and Responsible Officers in handling internal and external audits, regulatory enquiries and related documentation.
