Job summary

AXA Hong Kong and Macau is seeking an experienced accountant/analyst to design and document accounting workflows for new products, participate in UAT, and support system transitions with manual accounting and reconciliations.

You will document processes, controls, and procedures for new product accounting flows while driving automation and process improvements across cross-functional teams. Strong communication and a professional accounting background are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 4 years of accounting or business analysis experience in insurance/financial industry.
• Experience with project participation, UAT and process documentation.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and product workflows.
• Excellent cross-functional communication.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Accounting Manager to design and document accounting workflows for new products.
• Participate in UAT to validate system functionalities and align with business needs.
• Support transition to new systems with manual accounting and reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Accounting Manager to design and document accounting workflows for new products in a new policy administrative system
• Participate in UAT to validate system functionalities and ensure alignment with business needs
• Support the transition to new systems by providing manual accounting and reconciliation prior to and during the launch
• Assist in documentation of process, controls and procedures related to new product accounting flows
• Support team transformation efforts by identifying opportunities for automation and process improvement using automation platforms
• Support ad-hoc accounting tasks and reporting as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• 4 years of accounting or business analysis experience, preferably in insurance or financial industry, candidates with less experience will be considered as Senior Accounting Officer
• Experience with project participation, UAT and process documentation
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and product workflows
• Effective communication ability to liaise with cross-functional teams and external parties
• Proficiency in MS Office, and experience with automation software such as Alteryx, Python etc.will be a plus
• Ability to adapt quickly, Independent, self-motivated
